The Women of AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS aka AAMCO Girls of Puget Sound have made it a priority to take an active role in our communities.  We will strive to develop better business and personal relationships through our volunteer outreach efforts. We have chosen to focus our involvement  in our local communities where we have raised our children and the local communities where we service our AAMCO Transmission customers.

Current Events:

January 15th-April 15th 2009   Legacy for a Cause-Sponsor of the Green Team..Weight loss along with community fundraising to support Puyallup communities and schools.

June 26th 2009  American Cancer Society's Relay for Life-Puyallup, WA.  Team AAMCO (owner's family and employees) will be participating in this event held in Puyallup.  We will walk as a team to raise $2000.00 to find a cure for cancer and to honor Jane Leirdahl, my mother-in-law,  who has the courage and will power to fight her small cell lung cancer and now she will join us this day and walk proud in the survivor lap. We are taking donations and you can go to any one of our centers to donate or go online to donate at relayforlife.org and donate to "Team AAMCO".  Thank you, Sue

BOOKS FOR SOLDIERS-gathering reading material to send to our soldiers overseas.  We have joined forces with booksfofsoldiers.com.  Please drop off your slightly used books at one of the four AAMCO Centers listed above.  We are collecting paperbacks, comics, and reader's digests. We will send these books out on a monthly basis for the rest of 2009.
